Bored of drinking plain water and wanting to cut down on sugary fizzy drinks, I was on the market for a refreshing beverage that would still give me the same satisfaction you get from opening a cold can of Coke, Sprite or Fanta. I spotted DASH water in the supermarket and since giving it a try, it’s always stocked in my fridge at home, giving me a healthy alternative, that’s a lot more fun than plain sparkling water.
DASH water is flavoured sparkling water, made with spring water and wonky fruit to fight food waste. Every can is sugar, sweetener and calorie-free, but it still has a juicy taste and a bubbly fizz. At this point as I drink a can near enough every day I’ve tried all the flavours there are, including lime, grapefruit, peach and raspbery. Much to my delight, the brand are launching a brand new flavour on May 12. To celebrate, shoppers can enjoy 50% off with code SAVEME50 until May 11, and from then code DSH30 gives new customers 30% off.
The offer, avaliable for first time customers only at the DASH website, means shoppers can snap up a box of cans for half price. The sparkling water trial pack includes 16 330ml cans of peach, grapefruit, lime and raspberry, reduced to £12.50, bringing each can down to less than 80p each.
Another option is to mix and match 48 cans with the flavours that are prefered. This would typically cost £48, but with the code SAVEM50, it is £24. That’s an impressive 50p per can.
While I love the taste of DASH water, it may not be for everyone as my boyfriend is less keen on the flavour saying it is too subtle and he would prefer a stronger fruit taste. Elsewhere, Twinings Sparkling Tea is a mix of lemonade and hibiscus. Shoppers can pick up a 12 pack for £12.99.
The Aqua Libra Sparkling Water, Sugar Free Fruit Water in Watermelon and Strawberry is on sale at Amazon for £14.39 for a pack of 24.
DASH water has an average score of 4.8 out of five by more than 1,000 customers. One person said: “Very refreshing drinks and such great flavours. My favourite is orange and really quenches your thirst and so tasty. Bonus is no calories so can drink without having to count calories.”
Another wrote: “Absolutely love my dash water. Favourites are peach, mango and lime. So refreshing and also make a great spritzer added to some white wine.”
Similar to myself, someone else shared: “Really refreshing! I have these instead of a can of Pepsi with lunch now and love it.” And a five star reviewer explained: “I absolutely love these drinks. Lime and pink grapefruit are my favourite flavours. Buy 72 a month on a subscription and always drink them all. Five stars for sure.”
With summer on the horizon, the DASH water deal is a great opportunity to stock up fridges with an alternative to fizzy pop and an excellent way to try out the brand new flavour for less.
